Sneaky bastards!<BR/><BR/>(3) Finally: I'm also shocked how much of this is left to chance. They couldn't devise a computer program that could determine that, say, <I>Wall*E</I> got 1,868 first place votes and then distribute the excess 1,000 first place votes on a proportional basis? That seems far more equitable. (But, also: kind of complicated. Why not just make it like the Heisman ballot, with a point value for 1st through 5th: 10-8-6-4-2 or something?
